Seminole and The Everglades Club Top the 2026 South Florida Private Club Prestige Index

Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach and The Everglades Club in Palm Beach share the top score of 82 in the Haute Residence South Florida Private Club Prestige Index 2026, a new ranking of 25 private clubs across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Indian Creek Country Club (78), La Gorce Country Club (76) and Riviera Country Club (73) complete the top five.

For buyers relocating to South Florida, club membership often shapes where they buy as much as the house does. The index scores each club on seven weighted dimensions of exclusivity, heritage and golf pedigree, then sorts them into three tiers: Tier A (75 and above), Tier B (60 to 74) and Tier C (below 60).

Palm Beach has the depth. Miami-Dade has the average.

Palm Beach County places 16 of the 25 clubs and averages 63.3. Miami-Dade places only six, but they average 66.2, the highest of the three counties, led by Indian Creek and Miami Beach‘s La Gorce. Broward’s three clubs, including Coral Ridge Country Club in Fort Lauderdale, average 50.7.

What it means for buyers

At the top of the index, admission is by invitation and sponsorship, and buying a home next to a club does not guarantee membership. Reported initiation fees range from roughly $200,000 to $1 million at the most exclusive clubs, and several clubs do not disclose fees at all. Anyone buying in Palm Beach, Jupiter, Boca Raton or Miami Beach with a specific club in mind should understand that club’s admission process before they sign a contract.

How the index was built

Each club was scored on seven published dimensions with fixed point weights. Fees are reported figures from 2021 to 2026 or credible estimates, never club quotes, and membership counts are reported estimates. The full methodology and a free CSV download are available with the report. HL Real Estate Group does not arrange or guarantee club membership, and inclusion in the index is editorial.
