American radio personality and voice actor Casey Kasem has listed his Holmby Hills mansion for $42 million. The home was originally purchased as a gift for Kasem’s wife, Jean, in 1989.

Located at 138 North Mapleton Drive in Los Angeles, the home is described as a “gated Classic Revival” in the listing and it sits on 2.4 acres of land. The 12,000-square-foot mansion features 8 bedrooms, 11.5 bathrooms, hardwood floors, a variety of ceiling types such as cathedral-vaulted and tray, a pool with two swim pavilions, a tennis court, a heart-shaped pool, guest house, service wing with laundry facilities, landscaped gardens, two garages for four bars, a living room salon, formal dining room, English-style library and more.

Fireplaces are located in the library, bar, and in the master suite and master bathroom. All bedrooms in the multi-winged home have en suites and the family-style kitchen features a breakfast and butler’s pantry.

The Kasem’s have used the home as primary residence for years, but also have property in Lancaster, California and a holiday home in Malibu.
