What the city approved

On March 24, 2026, the City Council approved Ordinance Nos. 5780 and 5781, which change the land use and zoning on about 1.774 acres of the resort to residential. It also approved Resolution No. 16-2026, which amends the resort master plan for the building and a new three-story, roughly 31,696-square-foot fitness center, and Resolution No. 17-2026, the site plan. The resolutions passed “as amended with conditions,” per the minutes. The Planning and Zoning Board and city staff had recommended approval.

Ask for the membership terms, initiation and dues in writing, separate from the condominium budget. For context, see our South Florida private club prestige index.
