A beautifully set table and fresh bouquets are welcomed embellishments at any gathering, but at Mr. C Hotel Miami’s table setting and floral arranging workshop on September 22, exclusive attendees learned how these classics can be the stars of the show. The workshop was led by Volver Flowers' founder Ana Maria Arellano and Federika Longinotti Buitoni of Collecto. As two women who know that luxury is all about the details, the duo was right at home in Mr. C Hotel’s finely curated atmosphere.

The workshop, set in one of Mr. C’s lush breezeways, was seamlessly complimented by the hotel’s harmonious decor. Just as any table arrangement has an inspiration, Mr. C Hotel’s charming nautical motif celebrates the Cipriani family’s roots in Venice. The interior’s blue and white palette are just the beginning of this place setting. Finer details like lacquered wood furniture detailing, super-yacht-inspired hallways, maritime photography, and a sailboat-speckled view of Biscayne Bay give Mr. C Hotel the air of elevation celebrated by the workshop.

With the warm city sounds of Coconut Grove in the distance, attendees adorned in dainty dresses and botanical prints browsed aisles of exotic flowers, giving things the ambiance of a fancy farmer’s market. As they listened, learned, and crafted the afternoon away, the ladies sipped on Mr. C’s classic bellini cocktail, a pink peach and prosecco delight that could have easily been mistaken for part of a floral arrangement.

A lover of the outdoors, Ana Maria Arellano of Volver Flowers was perfectly in her element as she guided guests in the art of floral arrangements. Starting out as a mere enthusiast, Arellano has garnered refined expertise over the years working with brands like Dior, Gucci, and Estee Lauder. Attendees had the unique opportunity to bring her knowledge of rare plants and seasonal selections to their own creations.

Federika Longinotti Buitoni, founder of curated homeware retailer Collecto, covered the tableware portion of the workshop. Focusing on timeless design with pops of festive flair, Buitoni showed attendees how to craft decorative pieces and incorporate different colors, textures, and materials into table settings for any occasion.

More than just flowers and forks, the workshop showcased what Arellano, Buitoni, and the folks at Mr. C know about elevated hospitality. Luxurious details, rare beauty, and personalized touches make all the difference.
