Last fall, Bentley launched a remarkable home capsule collection, featuring a stunning range of furniture as luxurious as its renowned automobiles. This season, the British brand decided to kick things up a notch by launching a complete home collection, designed and produced in conjunction with one of Europe’s top furniture makers, Luxury Living Group. First brought to light at the Salon del Mobile 2014, the Collection exemplifies the same exquisite craftsmanship that typifies a Bentley.
Created by architect Carlo Colombo in partnership with Bentley’s head of product design Daniele Ceccomori, the phenomenal furniture line is far more striking than the taupe-and-ivory capsule that preceded it, saturated with deep shades of burgundy, brick red and blue, and flecked with subtler mocha, quartz, grey, and cognac hues. The Collection employs a great deal of tactile leather and sensuous textiles, accented with hints of pinstripe and houndstooth, and the incorporation of velvets and light cashmeres add an extra dose of luxury to the extremely lavish line.
“In the Bentley Home collection . . . a passion for details, care of materials and a style that anticipates the trends [co-exist], while remaining true to the codes of elegance and tradition,” says CEO and chairman of the Luxury Living Group, Alberto Vignatelli. “[It possesses] the perfect synthesis of values, the same we find at the wheel of a Bentley. I strongly believe in this collection which is already attracting acclaim internationally.”
