Areté Collective, in collaboration with its sales partner IMI Worldwide Properties, introduces Loraloma, a private community in the Hill Country near Austin, Texas. Loraloma, which translates to "lore of the hills," is pioneering a fresh lifestyle that prioritizes appreciating the land's natural beauty and redefines contemporary life values.

Perched on the elevated hills where the Colorado and Pedernales Rivers converge, Loraloma is located within the 2,200-acre Thomas Ranch masterplan, offering a carefully designed selection of modern residences ranging from two- to five-bedroom cottages, villas, estates, and customizable homesites. The lifestyle at Loraloma focuses on fostering a stronger connection to the surroundings through activities like golf, fitness, wellness, culinary arts, and nature-based experiences. This makes Loraloma one of the most equipped master-planned developments in Texas and the United States.

Rebecca Buchan, Co-Founder & CEO of Areté Collective, remarked, "Loraloma presents a new narrative of luxury as a project crafted by designers. Choosing Loraloma means embracing a lifestyle, not just making a purchase. Areté's architects and land planners are delivering timeless, ecologically sensitive designs that celebrate the Hill Country's natural allure and the cultural charm of Austin."

Integrated into the untamed beauty of the Texas Hill Country, Loraloma has dedicated more than half of its land to open spaces, ensuring protected views for each homesite. The homes will line two miles of river frontage, complemented by an extensive network of trails and bike paths across Thomas Ranch, immersing residents in a wellness-oriented, nature-centric way of life.

Loraloma's focal point will be an 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned Scottish architect David McLay-Kidd of DMK Golf Designs, known for his work on courses like Bandon Dunes and the Castle Course at St. Andrews. This will be McLay-Kidd's first Texas course, adhering to his sustainable approach that showcases the land's intrinsic beauty.

The golf course will be complemented by three distinct club experiences: the golf house, the cliffside clubhouse, and the riverfront amenities. These spaces will offer various facilities such as pools, a spa, a fitness center, sports courts, restaurants, and water-based activities. Additionally, Limestone Gulch will serve as a central gathering place with features like swimming holes, fishing ponds, a communal farm, a recreation barn, an outdoor amphitheater, a dance hall, and a tap house.

Future plans for the community include an equestrian center and a sprawling resort site with panoramic views to house a forthcoming boutique hotel.

Areté Collective consists of experts spanning design, development, hospitality, marketing, and finance, aiming to develop communities that emphasize open space preservation and beautiful design.

Prices for the Founder's Offering start at around $1.6 million for a homesite, featuring three, four, and five-bedroom floorplans.
