In 2013, Efron purchased the posh compound at just under $4 million. Located in the Oaks area of Los Feliz, the contemporary residence served as home to the movie star for several years before being listed on the market in December of 2020 for $5.9 million. Earlier this year, the price was reduced to $5,575,000 and once more to $5.3 million two months later. The California native currently appears to be traveling the globe for his Netflix show, “Down to Earth With Zac.” Reportedly, he has also made a real estate deal in Australia where he recently purchased a property.

Efron’s former Los Feliz residence spans 5,644 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Built in 1964, the property currently emulates a contemporary aesthetic and is described as “a perfect celebrity haven.” The home is accessed from a long-gated driveway with stone pathway and glass door. The interior layout features a living room with fireplace, dining area, and walls of glass to accompany the open floor plan with seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The chef’s kitchen highlights a center island, breakfast bar with seating, and walls of storage. Stepping outside, the exterior space presents a newly renovated pool with waterfall, spa, and decks running the length of the home. The floating style stairs lead to a game room equipped with a billiard table and shuffleboard. The primary suite on the main level features dark toned walls, fireplace, and balcony offering grand views of the downtown cityscape. In addition to three more bedrooms downstairs, the property includes a separate guesthouse with its own bedroom and bathroom. Other perks of the home include an office, gym, wine cellar, carport, and security cameras.

Kathrin Nicholson of The Agency represented the seller while John Fanelly of Del Rey Urban Brokerage represented the buyer.
