Why did you choose Real Estate?
I chose to pursue a career in real estate because of the unique opportunities it offers. Real estate is a constantly evolving and exciting industry that allows me to work with people from all walks of life and help them achieve their dreams of finding the perfect home or investment property.
Also, I am passionate about real estate because it is a tangible asset that has the potential to appreciate in value over time. I take great pride in helping my clients make informed decisions that not only meet their current needs but also position them for long-term financial success.
What was your journey to where you are today?
Growing up in a working-class family in Hudson Valley, New York, I started working at a young age by mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and raking leaves. Over the years, I gained unique experiences working across various industries, such as staffing, software sales, and even owning a company in staffing. I also had the opportunity to work with a Rwandan genocide survivor who became a New York Times bestselling author. My diverse background also includes working in higher education and fundraising, as well as construction, specifically in luxury custom home building in Rancho Santa Fe.
Despite working in different fields, my sales experience has been a constant throughout my career. I believe that my varied experiences have culminated in my success in real estate, as I am able to draw upon my knowledge across industries and platforms. Moreover, my strong work ethic has allowed me to understand what needs to be done to drive and propel the business forward.
What is your biggest success story to date?
To this day, my greatest achievement has been marrying my wife. Prior to meeting her, I was content being single and had always vowed that I would not marry unless I was a better person with somebody than alone. My wife has proven to be the perfect complement to me, not only as the mother of our children and my life partner but also as a marketing genius in our business. Her ingenuity has helped propel our business in a way that has made it visible to the world, and I credit much of our success to her. Therefore, without a doubt, my marriage to her remains my biggest success story.
