Thierry Mugler Lists NY Penthouse

After Thierry Mugler closed his label and disappeared from the public eye (and the Clarins company), he’s resurfaced to put his New York residence on the market.

Property records disclose that Paris-based Monsieur Mugler purchased the penthouse in July 2004 for $4.5 million. Monsieur Mugler recently listed this lavish yet sparsely decorated Big Apple abode with the asking price of $7,995,000.

Monsieur Mugler only made use of the roomy, high maintenance New York City duplex penthouse for about two months out of the year. That’s a costly two months when one considers the $7,555 per month—$90,660 annual—in property taxes and common charges.
