At Elizabeth Cinquini Interiors, we believe that color is the cornerstone of exceptional design. Color has the power to set your mood, create harmony and happiness. We specialize in crafting spaces that reflect our clients individuality and offer one-of-a-kind ambiance.  For this project, we blended several elements to create a captivating bedroom.  A custom made bed and draperies, in luscious navy blue velvet, were the clients dream come true.  A striking grasscloth wallpaper accent wall, paired with custom wood and brass nightstands, make a bold statement.   To infuse vitality and richness, we introduced a leather tufted bench and silk-dyed rug, complimented by a textural throw and silk pillows, layering in color and texture. The result is a room that exudes a unique and personalized vibe.

In outdoor living design, leisure and tranquility or entertainment and fun can be achieved physically as well as mentally through educated color selections.  A sense of peace and serenity is found in the use of softer tones and colorations complementing the natural hues in the outdoors.  From soothing blues or aqua to ivory and sand, each selection can be applied to multiple areas of the outdoor room including building materials and surfaces. Bolder colors also can play a part in setting the desired vibe in outdoor living designs.  "Excitement and an entertaining flavor can be added with the bright colors available in unique tiles to decorative pillows;" said Sozan Hughes, vice president/creative director, Ryan Hughes Design. “With today's performance fabrics, we are able to add a fun state of mind to outdoor decor as upholstery can be just as vibrant and design-rich as that found indoors. We are also elevating the outdoor psyche through color created via smart exterior lighting features delivering on demand bright colors for parties or soothing mood lighting for quiet gatherings."

This little den in a penthouse apartment in Boston, MA.  This little room serves multiple functions: a fold down Murphy bed, with flamboyantly colorful sculpture,  for guests, cozy sofas for conversations and watching TV, surrounding a fun and multi-colored zig zag custom carpet, dark red hair on hide leather pillows and benches fit with the fireplace for warmth and contemplation (and reading historical fiction?). The bones of the room are neutral, so the bold color brings life and energy to the cozy and quiet room.
