Steve Carell seems to be a man of habit, having sold a home just to move to another right up the road. His (new) Toluca Lake Estate cost around $6M to purchase, however, Carell and his wife chose to annihilate the property of the late Jonathan Winters in favor of creating a totally custom residence. 5,200+ sq. ft. just wasn’t big enough, but 1.27 acres is plenty to build on.
Steve Carell’s payday on The Office was reportedly around $300,000 per-episode in the show’s last season, so it’s clear he wanted to invest in new digs for some well-deserved R&R (well, when the place is finished). Carell and his wife also own a modest residence in Marshfield, MA in addition to a general store. We’ll have to wait and see what they come up with next!
