New York Real Estate Market Topped By $100 Million Octagonal Penthouse

An octagon-shaped penthouse in Midtown stands atop the New York real estate listings these days. Steven Klar’s 8,000-square-foot home has been fit with a price tag of $100 million. Klar is the head of the Klar Organization.

Occupying floors 73 through 75 with a guest suite on the 72nd floor of CitySpire, the home features six bedrooms and nine baths. It also opens up to 3,000 square feet of terrace space.

The penthouse features the design touch of Juan Pablo Molyneux, who recently listed his own New York property. His design includes a column-dominated foyer and a luxe chandelier in the dining room.

The home also features a wine closet capable of storing 1,000 bottles.

Klar purchased the home in 1993 for $4.5 million.
