For those who don't know, Bunny Bastian was well-known in the South Florida area. She was a philanthropist that served on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross for the Greater Miami area, Gables Estates Club, and the Keys Chapter. She was also a member of the Board of Trustees for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and served as a member of the Brickell Avenue Literary Society, and the University of Miami Dade County Women's Guild. Bastian also became part of the Director's Circle of the Lowe Art Museum and was an Honorary Member of Beaux Arts as well as many, many more programs and societies. After her passing earlier this year, her home is being sold for $45M.

The property has a little under two acres, with views looking out onto Key Biscayne, Stiltsville, and the ocean. The property also has 200 feet of access to the water on Biscayne Bay. If that wasn't enough, there are another 200 feet of seawall on the back of the property that is private and protected and an ideal area to dock your yacht.

The house is located at 140 Arvida Parkway in Gables Estates. It is a three-story home that allows you to get the most out of the view. This 11,478-square-foot stunning home was originally built in 1963 but was renovated in 2006.

Properties like these rarely ever go on the market, so they are in high demand when they do. This is why they have listed the home for a whopping $45 million. If the house gets anywhere near the asking price, it will set a record for the area.

Liz Hogan with Compass is holding the listing with the trust of Bunny Bastian acting as the seller of the home since her passing.
