Alas, TV personality Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos have found a buyer for their Soho penthouse, which cost them $9.5 million to revamp back in 2005.

Originally listed for $24.5 million, the pad sat on the market for 14 whole months before an unnamed purchaser finally agreed to take the plunge . . . though much to the show biz duo's chagrin, at an undisclosed discounted price.

Though undoubtedly sophisticated in design, the apartment turned off many past potential buyers due to its family-oriented layout.

Along with five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths, the 7,000-square-foot duplex has a spacious living area; a modern kitchen equipped with state-of-the-art appliances; white oak flooring; a master suite with walk-in closets; 12-foot ceilings; marble and milled wood detailing; a gym; a media room complete with a fireplace; and an attached bath with a luxe jacuzzi situated within a 3,000-square-foot outdoor space. Its second story opens up to a large dining room, and an exterior kitchen.

Located at 76 Crosby Street, the apartment is tucked amongst the residences of Nicole Kidman, Harvey Weinstein and Samuel L. Jackson's daughter. Even the great DiCaprio has called the star-studded address "home" in the past.
