Hollywood-based design firm 5+ Design created the Krystal Laputa, a series of residential high-rises that are meant to encourage interaction between residents and the outdoors.

The residential spaces merge modern living, with environmental design. Located in Chengdu, China, each building is connected by a variety of elevated green areas, which include marinas waterways and land bridges. Each individual apartment is surrounded by its own personal garden, further integrating nature into the living spaces. The towers sit on a manmade lake and provide its residents with a stunning view and a wildlife sanctuary.

Each unit has a 270-degree view, while maintaining individuality with a different shape and position in the building. The penthouses have a 360-degree view, to provide a full indoor-outdoor integrated nature experience. The spaces of the balconies and rooms create a cool geometric aesthetic.

The geometric complex is surrounded by a lake that acts as a wildlife sanctuary.
