Here, he talks about his real estate journey and what he loves about Vail.
Why did you choose Real Estate?
I've been in Real Estate going on 40 years, first commercial real estate in Denver and residential in Vail Colorado where I have always loved to be. Rod Slifer, our company name sake asked me to join Slifer Smith & Frampton many years ago.
What was your journey to where you are today?
I moved to Vail at 19 years old for the summer. Vail is fabulous, and over time, I became a ski instructor and white water river guide. I then met my wife, and she encouraged me to finish school, which I did. We moved to Denver, where I graduated at the top of my class and then worked in commercial real estate for 9 years. While in Denver, I sent my resume to Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate and have been with my firm for 30 years. Over this time, I have been a director on the Vail Board of Realtors(r), Chairman of the VBR, Vice President of the Colorado Association of Realtors(r), Mountain District, Realtor(r) of the Year, and have other rewards.

What is your biggest success story to date?
While having sold many multi-million dollar resort homes, my biggest success was helping our orthodox Rabbi find a home for his Chabad in Lionshead, helping him negotiate, and securing a grocery store in the retail portion of his space.
