Diane Keaton’s Former Laguna Beach Abode Is Asking $16M

The former Laguna Beach abode of actress, producer, and director, Diane Keaton, has been listed for $15.989 million, Luxury Listings reported.

Built in 1928 for the J. Roy Smith ranching family, the four-bedroom, six-bathroom Mediterranean Revival-Style house was purchased by Keaton in 2004 for $7.5 million.

She renovated the residence––adding full bathrooms in every bedroom, as well as preserving the historic details––and lived there until she sold it in 2006 for $12.7 million.

Designed with Spanish-style artisan tile and ironwork, stenciling on the dining room ceiling, and stained glass pocket doors, according to press materials, the oceanfront home features beach access to Shaw’s Cove via private stairs and a “beach garage” on the sand for storing kayaks and paddleboards.
