Here, she speaks with Haute Residence about why she chose real estate and what she loves about the Hawaii market.

Why did you choose Real Estate?

Born and raised in Hawaii, I have lived and trained internationally in more than a dozen countries. My passion for the ocean led me home to the Island of Hawai`i where I worked extensively with National Geographic on underwater documentary films and photography. I also became a Coast Guard certified submarine co-pilot, rescue scuba diver, and free diver. I love nature and have a deep appreciation for Hawaii’s sense of place — perhaps the most invaluable quality in the island’s luxury real estate.

What was your journey to where you are today?

The first 10 years of my real estate career were at Clark Realty Corporation. I quickly became a top producer. For four years, I led as Principal Broker at Kukio Properties. Currently, I’ve been working with Hawaii Life for the past 10 years as a Broker In Charge/Director. Through my time in luxury real estate, I have represented both sellers and buyers who value excellence, knowledge, and personalized results. Over the last couple of decades, I’ve witnessed first-hand the growth and transformation of the Big Island of Hawaii. This in-depth understanding has allowed me to help clients make the most informed decisions about the community and select a home that synergistically meets their needs, dreams, and lifestyles.

What is your biggest success story to date?

I have had the privilege of working with several mentors throughout my real estate career. My Father was a huge influence growing up and introduced me to the world of real estate. He helped me purchase my first property. When I worked at Clark Realty Corporation, my first Broker In Charge, Larry Hull was also an amazing teacher and encourager who guided me from the start. Colleagues and other women business leaders also served as role models, inspiring me to set high standards and push myself beyond my limits. Observing their professionalism, work ethic, and dedication has motivated me to strive for excellence in every aspect of my career. Their success stories have shown me what is possible with hard work, perseverance, and a strategic mindset.

What makes your market unique?
