The pulse of excitement resonates throughout Metro Detroit as the stage is set for the highly anticipated 2024 NFL Draft in Metro Detroit this week!

We asked our Haute Residence member Candice Rich with Christie’s International Real Estate to share with us all of the exciting things happening in her hometown.

“The City is buzzing in and around Metro Detroit, and I’m thrilled to be attending some of the exclusive NFL Draft parties as an invited guest, joining a few of my professional athlete clients, local and global sports agents, and the representatives organizing these incredible events! What makes these events even more meaningful is that many also support some of the athletes’ charitable initiatives.”

“After having such an exceptional winning season, I’m super excited to support our Detroit Lions and can't wait to see which players we'll acquire in this year's Draft picks. "

"The Mayor of Detroit and our Michigan Governor both have declared Thursday, April 25, as 'Honolulu Blue Day,' so the city will be rocking blue in honor of the Detroit Lions team color! " says Candice.

As the driving force behind Candice Rich Luxury Homes' Sports and Entertainment division, Candice has become a trusted go-to Realtor, providing highly specialized advisory services and discretionary representation to many professional athletes, entertainers, and dignitaries relocating to the Metro Detroit area.

Candice collaborates seamlessly with attorneys, wealth managers, and sports agents alike, leveraging her local expertise and entrenched influence to deliver exceptional real estate services to their respective clients.

This includes procuring temporary, fully furnished housing at a moment's notice for athletes during their season, securing investment properties, and representing them on the purchase and sale of their family homes. Candice states that her top priorities are discretion, execution, and professionalism, allowing her athletes and clients to remain focused on their careers.

BIG SEAN won’t ever suit up in an NFL game, but he’ll have his name called at the NFL Draft and walk across that stage for other reasons. That’s because Detroit’s own Big Sean has been announced as the league’s official headliner for the Bud Light NFL Draft Concert Series when the draft comes to the D this week, from April 25 to 27. Get there early! This event will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be held in a standing room only.

Sean Don is set to perform ahead of round one of the NFL Draft next Thursday (April 25), when he’ll take the Draft Theater stage around 6:15 p.m. ET to warm up the thousands in the Campus Martius Park audience. The Detroit Youth Choir will hit the stage on day two (April 26), and Michigan native Bazzi will close out the concert series with a performance on Saturday night (April 27). The NFL Draft Concert Series is completely free of charge for fans, and general admission will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
