Since 1950, Pebble Beach's Concours d'Elegance has celebrated the stunning heritage and enduring magnificence of fine automobile engineering and design each year, by showcasing the most enviable antique guzzlers and dazzling new concept cars in the industry.
Once again, however, Bentley Motors opted to not only feature the company's highly acclaimed luxury saloons, but to also shine a spotlight on a cool creation its wheels have inspired: a furniture line that embodies the unparalleled class, sophistication, innovation, and high quality of the prominent auto brand.
Along with test drives and sumptuous aperitifs, the Home of Bentley offered an exclusive preview of its Bentley Home Collection during Concours 2013, the entirety of which was unveiled in Paris earlier this year.
The 64th edition of the affair—which took place from August 13 to 17—revealed the furnishing line's newest pieces, weeks before they hit showrooms across the nation this fall.
Among the exquisite furnishings displayed in the "Mood Station" room included Richmond seating, which touts the same smooth leather and briarroot found in Bentley autos' interiors, and the plush Canterbury armchairs and complementary Harlow tables.
The "Commissioning Room" exhibited another set of fine pieces including the Minster sofa, whose elegantly curved armrests and velvet upholstering reveal the softer side of the brand.
