Azul & Company Tapped to Redesign New York’s Crowne Plaza Hotel

West coast design is coming East! One of Miami’s premier designers, Azul & Company, have been tapped for the renovation of New York’s Crowne Plaza Hotel. Scheduled to open in May 2013, the hotel will be re-designed by the hospitality division of the interior design firm, with furnishings for all 336 rooms and common spaces to be spearheaded by lead designer Gene Kauffman.

A leading proponent of turn-key, luxury designs, Azul & Company was a natural fit for the project. “We are very excited to participate on this project,” Maria Jose de Caires, founder and head designer at Azul & Company, told us. “As we continue to grow and expand, we strive to provide our commercial clients with a new experience in design with materials characteristic of the Azul & Company brand.”
