When is the best time to list a home and why?
The best time to list a home for sale is when it is completely ready to be shown (which means when all the repairs have been made, staging and redecorating have been completed and it ‘shows like a model’)! Today’s buyers are very particular about the condition of a home they are buying and are quite unforgiving of poor decor.

To compete, the seller must co-operate with their Realtor’s suggestions if they are to maximize their selling price.
How will they set you apart from the competition?
The season is not that important in the downtown Chicago area, but the suburbs do best by bringing their properties on the market in the spring/summer months.
