Malibu is one of those rare communities that still exist here in Southern California. It has the small-town vibe that is rare to cities surrounding huge metropolitan areas. The people here are close-knit and pride themselves in being residents of Malibu. As Malibu is a beach community, people are very laid-back and low-key.

Residents are made up of families with kids, both young and middle-aged couples, and vacationers who do end up living the “Malibu life” and staying much longer than they first intended, becoming those very Malibu lifers.
