Editor’s Note: Haute Design by Haute Residence caught up with the dynamic husband-wife duo behind the award-winning interior design firm, B + G Design. Here, we’re taking a look at the couple’s latest design project located in the exclusive Boca Raton area where translucent glass and soft metallic-and-grey hues seamlessly blend for a versatile and modern aesthetic. The project, home of James A. Klotz, is the third time B + G Design is teaming up with Kotz and so the powerful trio reunited for another exceptionally curated masterpiece. The residence boasts metallic hues, rich browns and leather-paneled walls inspired by men’s fashion and fine tailoring. Rich in layering of materials, textures and colors, the oceanfront condo presents jaw-dropping design finishes throughout. We caught up with Giselle Loor Sugerman and Brett Sugerman who discuss the inspiration behind this project and more.
Haute Residence: What was the inspiration behind this project?
B+G: Our client is a very sophisticated, impeccably dressed executive and that was the inspiration for our project.
HR: Are your clients involved in every or any stage of the remodeling/design process?
B+G: In this case no. This is our third project with our client and he puts a lot of faith and trust in us.
HR: What is your favorite room in this residence that you designed?
B+G: We love the main area. It is elegant and multifunctional with the living room area, bar and lounge space flowing seamlessly.
