I was so inspired by the large black and white of Audrey Hepburn I built a room around it. The room itself acts as a foyer and really sets a precedent of populace and relaxation. Ironically, I upholstered the furniture with fabric intended to be a shower curtain and the majority of the furniture I found on the street and customized. Quality cotton shower curtains, priced at about $3 yard, are a great substitute for upholstery fabric which is sold at up to $100 yard! Thrift shops are also a great place to search for alternative fabric sources.
