Houston’s luxury real estate landscape is entering a new chapter as developers Deiso Moss and Cleary Interests officially launch public sales for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Houston, a landmark project that will introduce the city’s first co-located The Ritz-Carlton hotel and residential tower.

Rising at 2120 Post Oak Boulevard in the heart of the Uptown-Galleria District in Houston, the 45-story development represents a major milestone for the Texas metropolis, bringing the globally recognized branded-residence model to a market increasingly attracting international capital and high-net-worth buyers.

Long established in premier destinations such as Miami, New York City, and Dubai, the hospitality-integrated residential concept combines private homeownership with the service, amenities, and prestige of a five-star hotel. With early interest already strong, the launch underscores growing confidence in Houston’s position as a global business and lifestyle hub.

“This is not simply a new residential tower,” said Joe Cleary, founder of Cleary Interests. “It is a statement about where Houston stands today. The city has matured into a global business capital, and this project aligns its residential offering with that stature.”

The development will feature a full-service The Ritz-Carlton hotel with 156 guest rooms and suites alongside 112 branded residences designed for whole ownership.

“Branded residences have become a durable and recognized asset class,” said Andrew Wachtfogel, co-founder and managing principal of Redeavor Group. “Houston is entering this space at the right time, with the economic fundamentals and buyer profile to sustain long-term value.”

To coincide with the public sales launch, the development team has unveiled a $5 million private sales gallery designed to give prospective buyers a tangible preview of the future tower. The appointment-only space mirrors the project’s architectural and interior vision, showcasing curated materials and design elements that will define the residences. Installations within the gallery highlight the property’s private amenity collection, including a discreet residential arrival experience, indoor and outdoor pools, and a comprehensive wellness program, along with seamless access to the hotel’s dining, cultural, and spa offerings.

The project’s interiors are being designed by acclaimed architect and designer Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio, who approached the development as an expression of Houston’s layered identity. Drawing inspiration from the city’s historic post oak canopy and the lush parklands along Buffalo Bayou, Rottet incorporated warm woods, limestone, marble, and bronze accents to create spaces that balance contemporary sophistication with a distinctly regional character.

Architecturally, the tower is designed by Pickard Chilton, the nationally recognized firm responsible for some of the country’s most notable high-rise buildings. For the Houston project, the firm conceived a refined vertical silhouette that blends contemporary elegance with the proportions of classic skyscrapers, emphasizing symmetry and enduring materiality. The façade combines glass and masonry to create rhythm and depth, establishing a commanding presence on the Uptown-Galleria District skyline.

Additional members of the design team include Ziegler Cooper Architects as architect of record, OJB Landscape Architecture leading landscape design, and Harvey Cleary serving as general contractor.

Once completed, currently estimated for fall 2029, the development in Houston will pair private residences with the full lifestyle ecosystem of a five-star hotel.
