The Cure to Your Winter Blues: A Boutique Resort and a Pop of Color

As the weather gets colder and the days get darker, the winter blues begin to kick in. So how can we cure the seasonal drowsiness? With an easy fix, a pop of color can be the serotonin needed to brighten up the dark days. The Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa took it upon themselves to rejuvenate their travelers’ moods when on the move, adding a unique pop of color to each of the five inns that make up the boutique resort.

Located along the shoreline of New York’s Cayuga Lake in the storybook Village of Aurora, the inn provides the ideal getaway for anyone seeking a relaxing retreat. Each room provides a breath of fresh air. Individually designed, each abode dances to the beat of its own drum with varying color schemes.

The Rowland House adds a chic touch to Finger Lake living. Playing with more muted tones, the rooms feature bold, mismatched patterns which can be found in the curtains, cushions, and even the hand painted checkered walls.
