The owner of this gorgeous home is an artist who opted for a zen style ff decor. Zen in Japanese refers to meditation and in interior design, it reflects balance, harmony and relaxation. Typically, zen is associated with minimalism and simplicity and it strives to create an atmosphere that is tranquil and stress-free.
This style is all about natural colors and soft tones, such as white, shades of beige or sand which induce a sense of relaxation and calmness. The monochrome color continues between the walls, furniture, and floors. The space is uncluttered with only a few ornaments and paintings.
Zen style furniture is characterized by simple lines that are made of natural material and avoiding complicated detail. The use of plants around the home have a calming effect through their soothing green colors.
The image of this bathroom shows how well balanced a Zen design should be. The use of natural materials such as wood, bamboo, and sea-grass is often used to create harmonious space.
Ultimately Zen home decor helps you create a peaceful space that you will love and enjoy.
