When is the best time to list a home and why?
The best time is when you are ready to make a move and have identified where you want to go. Do not list before you know where you want to go or until after you have committed to another property (unless you can afford to carry two properties simultaneously). It puts you at a disadvantage as a seller to be pressed for time in either instance.
