The Inside-Out collection is a collaboration between Sergio Mannino and Thomas Lehman, American designer with his studio in Milano.

Largo is a sideboard cabinet, six feet wide, 13 inches deep and 2 feet tall. The interior is a highly refined shiny lacquer pink, while the exterior is a rough matte birchwood.

This furniture series plays with the ready-made language of Italian maestro Enzo Mari, beginning with rough and slightly primitive construction, so much in vogue in the Brooklyn Design scene, opening to reveal a gemlike surprise of intense color applied to the highly refined interiors, typical of the traditional Italian design culture.

The mix of Italian and American design and culture is part of many of Sergio Mannino’s projects. Sergio, born and raised in Italy has been operating in New York with his studio for more than 15 years.

The Inside Out collection is made in Brooklyn by hand and it is made to order with a lead time of approximately 6-7 weeks. The exterior finish and the interior colors can be customized while variations on the size can be considered, depending on the specificity of the client’s needs.
