Los Cabos has become the hottest new frontier of luxury living as temperatures begin to drop in the US. In a nuanced move, Ritz-Carlton is heading south to open West Enclave, a Ritz-Carlton Residence. Unlike similar real estate ventures to bring the luxury market to Los Cabos, the Ritz-Carlton is looking to develop a nuanced architectural plan for the residences, planned by native architect Fernando de Haro who utilized a more contemporary approach in his designs.

The single-family villas, 27 in total, are selling quickly. Each showcases the beauty of the Baja California beach town with floor-to-ceiling windows, broad, open floor plans, and massage gardens within each bedroom.

“The desert landscape of Los Cabos provided both a challenge and opportunity when designing the Residences,” said De Haro, architect for West Enclave, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence. “When you are here, you instantly feel there is a deep relationship between the desert sand, the sea and the warm ocean breeze. My goal was to create an environment that marries these elements, and allows the air to flow openly through each home while also providing a protective environment.”

Los Cabos is rapidly improving past previous civil issues, particularly in the luxury neighborhoods cropping up along the coast. In Ritz-Carlton’s case, the luxury hotel brand is ready to expand your summer vacation in a home you’ll come back to again and again.
