Ranch in Aspen Sells for $41 million

A property on the backside of Aspen Mountain sold for $41 million Monday, making it one of the most expensive real estate transactions in Pitkin County history,the  Aspen Daily News reported. Living up to its name, Jigsaw Ranch was sold in two different transactions; the 44-acre upper portion contains the main 12,247-square-foot residence which has six bedrooms and six baths and there is also a one-bedroom, one-bath gatehouse. That parcel sold for $27 million. The 23-acre lower estate and its 5,760-square-foot home, along with a 1,200-square-foot guest house and a log cabin, sold for $14 million.
