Famed designer Philippe Starck has created a new luxury shower concept collection for German brand Hansgrohe International. Starck, whose recently made news when the yacht he designed with the late Steve Jobs was unveiled, has broken new ground with the Axor Shower Collection.

The collection emphasizes is both beautifully designed and highly functional, with a simple look that will complement a timeless bathroom decor. The unique stainless steel shower provides a powerful experience thanks to a device which achieves a perfect flow thanks to a balance between air and water. With a motto of “just mix it”, the completely customizable devices offers a variety of spray styles which can be customized by the user, transforming the standard luxury bathroom into a personal spa. The water flows from the square shaped shower head at the perfect temperature thanks to a built-in thermostat.

This is not the first collaboration the designer has made with Hansgrohe International, which is owned by French designer Philippe Grohe. Starck has been working with the company for over twenty years.
