The Japanese fusion restaurant, headed by illustrious chef Nobu Matsuhisa, will be located on the ground floor of Waiea, the first residential tower to rise in Ward Village, a 60-acre elite coastal community in Honolulu

Waiea comprises 175 residences, with its Grand Penthouse Collection spanning the top five floors

The building, designed by Vancouver-based architect James K. M. Cheng in collaboration with Rob Iopa and WCIT Architecture, comprises 175 sophisticated residences. Of those residences, with interiors designed by Tony Ingrao, 10 are townhomes and 14 make up the Grand Penthouse Collection spanning the top five floors.

For $36 million, the top-floor penthouse on the 36th floor offers more than 10,000 square feet of space, with five bedrooms; a master bath with a deep soaking tub, dual sinks, and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the ocean; and a guesthouse one floor below. An open-concept kitchen is designed for entertaining with top-of-the-line Miele appliances. The living area opens up to 1,300 square feet of private outdoor space with an infinity pool. A separate four-car garage is also included with the penthouse.

One floor down, the 35th Floor Grand Penthouse is offered for $35 million, with 8,500 square feet of the same refined details and exceptional views, in addition to 2,000 square feet of outdoor space. The remaining penthouses are situated on floors 32 through 34 and available from $4.2 million.

“The experience rendered from the Waiea Grand Penthouses will be truly unmatched,” says Cheng. “Everything at this level in the building is amplified, the air is pure, and the views are breathtaking. The Grand Penthouse buyer will own, undoubtedly, the most extraordinary condominium residence in Hawai‘i.”
