Palm House Palm Beach: A Modern Classic

On November 2024, a new chapter unfolded on the storied island of Palm Beach. Just steps from Worth Avenue and two miles from CityPlace, Palm House opens as a dazzling reinvention of tropical glamour, a modern retreat that captures West Palm’s legendary allure while introducing a fresh spirit of playfulness and sophistication.

Marking the debut U.S. property for L+R Hotels’ Iconic Luxury Hotels collection — the same group behind Britain’s Cliveden House and London’s Mayfair Townhouse — Palm House represents a new benchmark for boutique luxury in America’s most elegant seaside enclave.

A Jewel Box by the Sea

Designed by Cooper Carry with interiors by Muza Lab, Palm House reimagines vintage Palm Beach through a vibrant, contemporary lens. Its coral-pink façade, framed by coconut palms and limestone arches, evokes both whimsy and refinement — a glamorous jewel box set amid lush greenery. Inside, art curator Minda Dowling has assembled a collection that bridges eras and aesthetics: Slim Aarons portraits, coral-hued Murano chandeliers, seashell tapestries by Christa Wilm, and Stallman Studio’s sculptural canvases that shimmer with motion.

The lobby itself feels like the island’s living room — a world of ruby velvet, seashell mosaics, and mirrored light that sets the tone for the hotel’s blend of classic and curious.

Island Chic Meets Contemporary Comfort

With just 79 guestrooms and suites, Palm House maintains an air of intimacy, yet its proportions are generous — averaging over 550 square feet. Each room is a study in texture and tone: coral-colored headboards, custom woven sconces, mirrored walls, and lattice details evoke the polished ease of the Palm Beach lifestyle.

The showpiece is the two-story Presidential Suite, nearly 2,000 square feet of private indulgence featuring an Alaskan King bed — the largest in Palm Beach — along with two balconies and personal butler service.

Where Palm Beach Meets Nobu

At the heart of Palm House’s social scene is its culinary destination — the Palm House Dining Room, created by the renowned team behind Nobu. Open for dinner and all-day dining, it’s poised to become one of Palm Beach’s most talked-about tables. The menu merges Japanese precision with Peruvian vibrancy, featuring standout dishes such as toro tartare with caviar, spring chicken shiro miso lemon, and a 28-ounce dry-aged ribeye with fresh wasabi.

Guests dine in a chic, sunlit space that opens to a 36-seat terrace overlooking the Sunset Pool Deck — an atmosphere of effortless glamour that feels distinctly Palm Beach, yet unmistakably global.

A Playground of Light and Leisure

Through arched doors, sunlight spills onto the Sunset Pool Deck, where cabana beds, cushioned loungers, and pool butlers await. Guests are treated to thoughtful touches throughout the day — from Evian spritzes to sunglass cleaning — as soft music and sea breezes create an atmosphere of easy indulgence.

Just beyond, the Palm Bar hums with energy. A “wonderland-esque” space of pink marble and coral-glass chandeliers, it’s a luminous cocktail haven where bartenders in white tuxedos mix British classics and bold new creations beneath an antique mirrored ceiling.

Palm Beach Refined

Palm House offers every modern luxury, from curated beach picnics and underground parking to a fitness center, valet service, and private transportation. For weddings and events, over 4,400 square feet of coral-accented spaces, including a ballroom and garden terrace, set the stage for elegant celebrations.

With rates starting at $499 in the off-season and $1,289 during peak, Palm House is both a love letter to Palm Beach’s golden past and a confident step into its vibrant future — a new icon where art, design, and culinary brilliance meet under the Florida sun.
