Miami Beach Oceanfront Mansion Hits Market For $22.5 Million

There are only two spots in Miami-Dade County where you can buy a beachfront single-family house directly on the ocean, an incredible fact considering Miami’s ‘beachy’ reputation. One is the exclusive and very small enclave of Golden Beach at the northern end of the county, and the other is the tiny neighborhood of Altos Del Mar in Miami Beach. Anywhere else is monopolized with apartments and condos. Altos Del Mar is a two-block-long stretch of large mansions on one of Miami Beach’s quietest sections of oceanfront. Set high to look above the dunes, the Altos Del Mar properties directly on the ocean start at $20 million and up.

This particular palazzo, at 7825 Atlantic Way, is a three-story number with fourth-floor roof deck, and prices in at $22.5 million. Built in 2016, it hit the market yesterday. The seven bedrooms are spread out over 8,500 square feet of interior space, including two guest suites clustered around a central courtyard. The lowest level and casual living areas look out onto pool, while the main living rooms on the second and the master bedroom on the third both get a good shot of the ocean beyond.
