A South Carolina native, Emery was born and raised in the upstate and graduated from Clemson University with a BA in History, Speech, and Communications. Her family has deep roots on Seabrook Island – her grandparents and parents have been on the island since original development and she was married at Camp St. Christopher. Emery earned her real estate license in 2006, specializes in high-end properties on Johns and Seabrook Islands, and has been one of Seabrook Island’s top sales agents for the past several years. She serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the Acquisitions Committee for the Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy. With a lifelong history and knowledge of the area, Emery enjoys utilizing her extensive real estate experience to assist her clients in buying and selling properties and was pleased to join the Akers Ellis real estate team in 2018. She and her husband Nick have two children and enjoy spending time together at Seabrook’s Beach Club. In her free time, Emery is an avid runner, gardener, self-proclaimed grill master, and angler, including fishing in the South Carolina Governor’s Cup Billfishing Series.
