What’s the best place to dine or drink under the stars in your region?
Dining under the stars in downtown Chicago is really a choice of which “best place” to go to because there are so many! Rush Street provides the most choices, with “Tavern on Rush” featuring delightful salads, great pizza and burgers, giant appetizers and a smartly dressed crowd of “who’s who” politicians, movie stars, entrepreneurs and sophisticated locals. Next door is a famous “Rosebud” restaurant, “Carmine’s,” which serves Italian pastas, soups, and entrees including “Brick Chicken,” and has a more casual crowd. Across the street is “Gibson’s,” which features the best steaks in town, lots of super rich singles, and a frantic bar scene.
What “smart” (or high-tech) features do homebuyers covet the most?
Dealing almost exclusively with the luxury market, I find buyers most concerned with wireless Internet, sound systems, home theaters,
security systems, Lutron lighting, and top-of the line appliances and fixtures. They especially love the technology that allows you to monitor their homes even while they are traveling overseas so they can adjust heat, air, and lighting from their cell phones.
