What patterns, colors, or materials are trending for this summer?

Bold graphic patterns are a big hit, especially when incorporated with bright colors. Metallics are in, adding a rich layer to interiors.

What strategies would you employ in decorating an exceptionally cramp space (such as a studio apartment, a tiny living room, a small office, etcetera)?

My strategy for decorating a small space is to “design.” What I mean by that is that decorating is one thing and design is another; function and flow are key to the best small space living. One can live “large” in a small space by having clever and adequate storage and multi-purpose furniture.
