For a while, award-winning actor and comedian Jonah Hill owned two properties in the Malibu Colony gated area. He bought the second one for $15 million in June and then quickly started selling his first colony house. The newly purchased home is located on a more desirable strip of the enclave, as it is located more on the beach, rather than on land.

Hill has been trying to sell off his first Malibu Colony home for a while now. It was initially listed for slightly under $15 million, then set to be rented for $50,000 a month. When that didn't entice any potential buyers, it was relisted for almost a million off the asking price.

Finally, Hartley Wasko, managing partner for The Eleven Fund, offered $11.1 million for the property. The cannabis technology platform investor bought Hill's home for $4 million under the original asking price. This was still a pretty good deal for Hill, who originally bought the home for $9 million from Richard and Laurie Stark, who are the founders of Chrome Hearts.

Inside the home, you have 3,700 square feet of living space, 3 stories, and 4 bathrooms. There is also a level that mimics a mezzanine, with a master retreat that has a fireplace, sitting area, balcony, spa bath, large shower, and even a dry sauna. The last floor is a roof deck with ocean views and plenty of space to lounge.

In addition to this home in Malibu, Jonah Hill also sold a NoHo loft in New York City for $10.6 million. He recently directed a movie about his experiences with mental health called Stutz and he is also in You People with Eddie Murphy as well as directing Outcome with Keanu Reeves.
