Hudson Yards, a vision of Related and Oxford Properties group, is a new commercial and residential development set to be constructed on Manhattan’s largest piece of undeveloped property (26 acres, to be exact). The sheer enormity of this project is set to transform New York City’s West Side, planting the seeds for a new residential and business community. The 7 train will even be extended to the heart of Hudson’s new residential offices!
Hudson Yards is set to offer 17 million square feet of living space/commercial space, and the site’s ‘master plan’ has been curated by Kohn Pederson Fox to ensure the most luxurious shopping, dining, living, entertaining and work environments.
Diller Scofidio + Renfro, David Childs/SOM, David Rockwell and Ismael Leyva will assist in the project by designing Hudson Yards’ first two residential towers (5,000 residences) to be located at 15 Hudson Yards and 35 Hudson Yards.
