Historical Beckett Residence Listed for $2.45 Million

One of Los Angeles’ historic-cultural monuments, the Beckett Residence, has been listed for sale for $2.45 million. Currently being used as a “standing set” for filming, the home is uninhabitable, but has significant potential for a savvy investor looking to restore the home to it’s former glory.

Located on 2218 S. Harvard Blvd., the Colonial Revival home sits on a 23,558-square-foot lot and has been packaged for sale with the property immediately next door (2200 S. Harvard), which sits on a 17,883-square-foot lot, for a total listing price of $2,450,000.

Built in the early 1900s for Dr. Wesley Beckett, the home features six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It is listed as Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #117. The city has over 1,000 Historic-Cultural Monuments, “providing official recognition and protection for Los Angeles’ most significant and cherished historic resources.”
