Hawaii’s ‘AURA’ House Is on the Market for $19.8M

AURA 7

“AURA” is an oceanfront estate positioned on six and half acres of a private peninsula in Kapalua, Hawaii, and it is now on the market for $19,800,000.

This beautiful estate is divided into several individual huts. There’s a main residence that has its own media room, a master bedroom suite accompanied by a lounging area, and an additional wing for housing guests.

Breathtaking views of both Honolua and Mokule’ia Bay, the ocean, mountains, and plenty of greenery, come from all three units.

The island getaway was transformed into this work of art by world-renowned photographer, Peter Lik. Known for his epic shots of some of the world’s most gorgeous landscapes, he designed a home ideal for capturing beautiful photographs of the tropical surroundings.

AURA is said to feature “eight of Lik’s photographic masterpieces” as well as sustainable architecture courtesy of Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architects, rammed earth walls, cement floors, and steel-framed glass doors that can be controlled by hydraulics.
