Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who has developed a reputation in real estate circles as a connoisseur of Southern California property, has listed his beachfront Malibu home.
He purchased the home from Charlize Theron a year ago for about $6.56 million, and he’s listed the property at just under $7 million.
Theron sold the property after she split up with her husband. They had listed it for $7.5 million and then tried to peddle the home as a rental property before Murphy acquired it.
The home measures nearly 2,100 square feet and includes three bedrooms, three full and one half-bath inside. Being a beachfront home, many of the amenities are geared towards outdoor living. The property also boasts a waterfront deck and lounge, a spa area, a fire pit and an outdoor shower.
Murphy owns another home in Southern California. Recently, the home was the setting of a Hollywood fundraiser for President Obama that included actors Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon and Jane Lynch.
