If you could pick 3 (belated) New Year’s design resolutions to make for 2014, what would they be? Why?

1. Focusing on new ways to connect with our environment. Whether it is a water feature or a living wall, as Feng Shui designers it is our mission to unite art, design and nature.

2. Strive to be bolder when making color selections.

3. Incorporating more “green” materials and organic furnishings in our work. Clients are becoming more eco-conscious and are asking for greener products.

Name your favorite furniture and décor brands to work with. What makes them so special?

Chista pieces are both modern and sculptural. Jalan Jalan in Miami has incredible ethnic pieces and unique accessories. Jonathan Adler has great style, patterns and colors. Artefacto’s Brazilian furniture line has a clean and fresh look. ABC Carpet has beautiful rugs that are true works or art.
