Hermosa Beach

The residential crowd is made up of...a diverse population of singles, families, and couples.

The community vibe is...laid back, comfortable, and unpretentious. It’s a mix of all statuses, with a considerable amount of wealth, but the more fortunate do not show it. Residents wear flip-flops, shorts, jeans, and yoga clothes often. But when it’s time to party, the designer wardrobe comes out!

The lifestyle offered is...enjoying the beach, as well as beach athletics, including volleyball, paddleboarding, bike riding, jogging, walking, skating, surfing, playing tennis, dining out, and shopping. And with convenient freeway access to take you out of what locals lovingly call “the bubble,” residents can work and play in the Greater Los Angeles area.

The most popular building type you’ll find is...a refreshing combination of styles including Mediterranean, craftsman, Cape Cod, California coastal plantation, modern contemporary, and traditional beach bungalow. There has been a significant amount of new development going on around the community, so you will see beautiful new construction homes next to teardowns.
