The residential crowd is made up of...an eclectic variety of young professionals, musicians, artists, families, and high net-worth individuals.

The community vibe is...active and energizing, yet relaxing and entertaining, all on the same token. This is one of the prime examples of why Austin appeals to people of all ages, regardless of interests and lifestyles.

The average home price is...based on location, of course, but prices range, on average, from the $200s to $600s in the surrounding Austin area, on up to multi-millions depending on lifestyle and level of luxury.

The area’s greatest highlight is…

The city has so many options when it comes to dining, entertainment, festivals, parks, music, fine arts, and community. I can’t think of many weekends when Austin city doesn’t offer some sort of a festival or activity.

The area’s best driving-distance getaway is…Fredericksburg, which offers a little getaway of sorts. Just an hour drive west of Austin, you’re transformed to a place where Texas hospitality and German traditions thrive. It’s fun, nostalgic, and offers great shopping and a few wineries and breweries.

The best spots to dine fancily are…by far Jeffries or Perry’s.

The best spots to find entertainment are…the Warehouse District, Austin City Living, The Long Center, and Zach Topher Theatre. They each offer an abundance of options no matter your taste or budget.

The best spots to go shopping are…

Second street downtown as well as The Domain equally offer a nice variety of shops where you can shop at your leisure and enjoy a nice meal to celebrate the day’s successes.

The best place to tee off is…

I’m partial to Barton Creek, due to its proximity and scenic courses, but Lago Vista, just a quick drive away, is a golf course that is hard to beat.
