Renowned TV personalities Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have recently put their luxurious Montecito mansion on the market for $46.5 million. Situated in the picturesque town of Montecito, California, the property has garnered widespread attention since being featured on Instagram.
The estate, purchased by the couple in June for $22.5 million, underwent extensive renovations, elevating it to a standard that justifies the doubled selling price. The main house includes two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two half baths, complemented by two guest houses, an art studio, a pool house, and a staff house.

Described as a “classic Roman courtyard residence,” the mansion, known as Pompeiian Court, was built in 1919 and has been transformed into a minimalist oasis by DeGeneres. The property boasts a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces, with floor-to-ceiling pocket doors leading to a private garden filled with fountains and lush botanicals.

This sale follows the couple’s recent real estate activities, including the purchase of a 12,000-square-foot mansion in Montecito for $20.95 million. They have also sold their Bali-inspired estate for more than $33 million and acquired comedian Dennis Miller’s 4-acre estate for $49 million.
