Dexter Star Michael C. Hall Lists Levitt-Designed Hollywood Home

Star of the Showtime hit Dexter Michael C. Hall has listed his Hal Levitt-designed Hollywood home for just under $2 million.

Hall’s 1933 vintage home was built as Levitt’s residence. It features the hallmarks of Levitt’s work including an open plan and high ceilings, and the home incorporates the outdoors throughout the overall design. The 3,500-square-foot home features four bedrooms, five baths, a gym and a guest room. It also features an elaborate patio boasting canyon views.

Hall purchased the Hollywood Hills home in 2008 for $1.75 million; it is now listed for $1.99 million.

Levitt’s designs are favorites among the Hollywood set. Olivia Newton-John, Lionel Richie and Dean Martin have all called one of Levitt’s designs home.
