Designs Done Well: Chicago’s City Hall Rooftop Garden

d1

Chicago’s City Hall boasts bigger secrets than what goes on inside. The building’s roof offers one of the most famous city rooftop gardens in the country, consisting of 20,000+ plants and 150+ species. Carefully selected for their ability to thrive in the Chicago elements, shrubs, vines, trees and more (many of which are native prairie plants) cover the majority of the rooftop.
